The first week of the month, I traveled to Maryland for Easter. I got a chance to spend time with my family. My good friend was kind enough to allow me to stay at his home for about a week. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland. Unfortunately, the weather put a damper on my plans to travel to New York and see a Broadway show. Unfortunately, I also did not get to go to the Orioles game or the Nationals game. I made the most of the trip and was able to get some work done creating content. I was able to meet with one of my editors. We had lunch. Although I wasn’t able to travel to New York and didn’t play as much poker as anticipated, I was able to go to the DC improv show and see Rex, Thomas, and a few other up-and-coming comedians. I was also able to visit the Holocaust museum. This was an eye opening experience.

The beginning of the month was a challenge. During the trip, I did not eat well and probably gained some of the weight that I lost. I stepped up and worked out every day when I returned, rotating between weights at the gym and tennis.

On the 14th, I went to Busch Gardens in Tampa for the first time before heading to Orlando to participate in a barber battle. It was a very cool experience. I checked into my hotel, which was less than 5 minutes from Orange City. We got some revenge and finished up the session. This session was the first of 12 of our poker challenges. We played in several other poker rooms over the next week. Visit my YouTube channel to see the poker challenge.https://www.youtube.com/@thepokerproneur

After returning from the trip, we spent the next week putting together content for our next few episodes. We also went and viewed a few leisure travel vans. Finally, we have decided which van to get. We may get a used one and order a new one, as the lead time is about 15-18 months. I’m excited to travel with friends and family. I also think it will make for some very interesting content.
